Crafting Edits – curated lifestyle editorials featuring beautiful brands and handpicked ceramic pieces that we think and hope you’ll love! Part wish-list, part gift guide, part Pinterest board. Constructing our UK Ceramics Directory with Studios, Brands, Manufacturers & Suppliers, to showcase businesses and share specialist skills and opportunities – creating a ceramics ‘collective’ and connecting with a supportive network.

Why We Created Home of Ceramics
Meeting while working at Wedgwood, we developed a deep(er) appreciation for the craft, heritage and people behind the ceramics industry. Through years of experience within Stoke-on-Trent’s world-famous pottery sector, we saw both the incredible talent that still exists across the industry and the challenges faced by British manufacturers today.
Home of Ceramics was created to celebrate the stories, skills and businesses that continue to shape UK ceramics. From independent studios and family-run potteries, to specialist suppliers and global manufacturers – our mission is to reconnect people with the heart of British ceramics, champion the industry across Stoke-on-Trent and beyond, and help restore pride in the city that built its name on clay, craftsmanship and innovation.
We believe the future of British pottery deserves to be seen, supported and shared.

With years of experience in the ceramics industry, working on many brands (both big and small) across marketing, eCommerce and creative, we’ve learned a lot along the way. We’ve got a vast network of industry contacts, lots of creative ideas, and an infinite amount of love for ceramics. When we say we’re passionate about the local ceramics industry, we are PASSIONATE!
Responsible for all things creative, Amy's most prized possession is her Nan’s Wedgwood ring, which she wears religiously every day, and would be beside herself if she ever loses it.
We are in no way ceramicists or historians, but advocates, ambassadors and admirers.
Responsible for all things commercial, Steve feels that he owes his life to Wedgwood and thinks his blood runs Wedgwood blue.
